The Pussification of America Continues

Ananova.com reports Eight-year-old twin inventors have been making the headlines in the US - for their wedgie-proof underpants.
Jared and Justin Serovich, from Los Angeles, call their creation the Rip Away 1000, reports Metro News.

The waistband of the pants is held on by velcro and comes away in a bully's hands if a wedgie is attempted.

"When the person tries to grab you like the bully or the person tries to give you a wedgie they just rip away," Justin explained on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Isn't that just darling? Breakaway underwear to stop bullying; what'll the think of next a fucking forcefield to put around children so they never get a scrape or touch something dirty, that whispers wonderful things in their ears to ensure high self esteem. Everyone should at some point in their youth know what it feels like to get the shit kicked out of them. It makes a person think twice about stepping on someone's toes or being out of line if you understand what consequences of your actions may be.

Kids are such protected little turds in an antiseptic world of play dates, mini vans, non competitive sports leagues (they don't keep score, I shit you not) and praise for just showing the fuck up. You can't raise a kid like a bitchass and expect him turn out to be a man when he hits 21. The future of this country looks bleak: a bunch of sensitive, crying estromen trying to understand 'why they hate us' as our enemies become harder and emboldened by our pussification.

While I'm concerned about the coming "Age of the Timmys" the breakaway underwear thing is at least inventive and accepts that confrontation is going to happen.

Saddly it is also an "Abuse me, I know it is coming" marker.

The underwear turn a simple wedgie into a bully having to resort to B, which depending on the bully can be much worse.

It's definately a one shot deal. You might be able to use the cagnative disonance the first time to get the hell out of there but it will never work again.

And there is always the problem of getting choked out with your own underwear strap once it is in the bully's hands.

Good point. The strap is the fatal flaw in the system and choking or tying the kid up with it would probably be the next step.
